Our Story

Like a vacation to your dream destination, your home should evoke a joyous energy; and Jana Bek Design delights in creating home décor with an easy elegance and timeless beauty that gives the spark to that joy. It all started with a few fuchsia brushstrokes. Needing a pop of just the right color for her NYC apartment, Jana gave an uninspired pair of vintage lamps a new lease on life with swirls of a happy hue. As an interior designer, Bek was thrilled by the powerful pairing: a lamp with a pattern that could evoke a soft sense of motion, with a custom color that tied a space completely together. Product development followed, resulting in a line of both small and large lamps now available in high-demand standard colors; as well as custom colors for only a fractional difference in price. Inspired, Bek has continued to broaden her home décor line guided by four simple principles: offerings should always provide an easy elegance and joy; high-quality products require high-quality materials and construction; whenever possible, products should come in custom colors; and customer satisfaction and engagement lie at the heart of Jana Bek Design values. Today, Jana Bek Design Home Décor products include an assortment of luxurious throw pillows and textiles; vibrant ginger jars; and both brushstroke and ombre patterned lamps - all, of course, available in both the most popular standard colors, and any custom color of your dreams.
